Here are some of the special activities we enjoy along with our customers, many of whom have long ago become friends... Come join in!

Cross Stitching at Camp Wannasew Camp Wannasew

We host 4 delightfully fun Stitching Weekends every year! March, April, October and November take us to Oklahoma's Sequoyah State Park for a weekend of stitching and friendship. Our 'Bunkhouse' Facility is a private building right on the lake, and it holds 46 of the happiest women on earth!!!

Camp Wannasew, A Silver Needle Favorite -- in our 25th year now, includes meals, rooms, stitching projects and door prizes... along with old and new friends, alike! A click on the pic will take you to the page of juicy details and lots of fun pictures of our weekends and some past projects! Hope you'll join us sometime!!!

Classes and Events

We have a great stitching area in the shop, and another in our infamous back room, that we use as classrooms. Along with beginning cross stitch, linen, and hardanger classes, we offer finishing lessons as well! Several of the classes are also available through mail order... so check out the current shop schedule!

We also use this page to tell you about all of our special events, sales and shows we will attend. So you can use it as a "Mark Your Calendar" reminder page, too.
